The colour is mass-pigmented through the polysilk vinyl rather than sprayed onto the surface. A knock that takes a chip out of a painted shutter just shows the same colour underneath on Urban, and a small mark can be sanded out without lifting the finish.
The louvres are connected with Louvolite's own Louvrelink system instead of staples. Stapled construction loosens over time and the louvres start sitting unevenly when tilted shut. Louvrelink keeps them flush for the life of the shutter, which is the difference between a vinyl shutter that stays looking new and one that goes saggy by year five.
Individual louvres can be swapped out. If a bottom louvre takes a serious knock, which happens in family bathrooms and kitchens, we can replace just that one rather than the whole panel.

Urban comes in two whites. Cotton White is the warmer of the two, slightly creamy, suits older properties and warmer wall colours. Arctic White is the cleaner pure white better for white-on-white kitchens, modern bathrooms, and cool-toned interiors. Both are pigmented through the vinyl, so neither will yellow with age the way cheap white plastics do.
