This is what vertical blinds are designed for. They slide to one side for full access, tilt for light control while the door is closed, and stack flat when you want them out of the way. No other blind type handles a wide sliding door as practically.

Living Rooms & Large Windows

For windows over a metre wide, vertical blinds give a clean, even coverage that roller blinds can struggle with at larger sizes. Tilt the louvres to control glare from a specific direction. Useful for south or west-facing rooms.

Kitchens & Dining Rooms

PVC vertical blinds handle steam, splashes and condensation. Wipe clean, won't absorb moisture, won't develop mould. The most practical option for any room where fabric blinds would struggle.

Waterproof PVC Blinds

Waterproof, wipe-clean, won't warp. The right choice for kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Limited colour range compared to fabric, but built to last in tough conditions.

All our vertical blinds are fitted with wand operation. No chains or pull cords. Bottom weights are enclosed in child-safe pockets as standard. If you have young children, there's nothing hanging within reach. If you are looking for motorised blinds operation that eliminates controls entirely, ask us during your home visit.

Fabric gives you more colour and pattern choice and suits living rooms and bedrooms. PVC is waterproof, wipe-clean and built for kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Fabric absorbs moisture, if the room gets steamy, go PVC.

89mm is the standard width and suits most windows. 127mm louvres are wider, which means fewer across the window. They give a bolder, more modern look and suit very wide spans. We'll recommend the right width for your window size.

Yes. That's the main reason people choose them. The blind slides to one or both sides and stacks flat, so you get full access to the door without removing or raising anything. You can also tilt the louvres for light control while the door is closed.

Yes. Motorised verticals are controlled by remote, app or voice. Useful for very wide windows where a long wand would be awkward, or for smart home integration. Battery-powered. No wiring needed.
