Blackout roller blinds are the standard recommendation for bedrooms. They block virtually all light and sit flush against the frame for a clean finish.
For shift workers or light-sensitive sleepers, we'd pair blackout fabric with a cassette pelmet to close the light gap at the top of the blind. Children's rooms get cordless or P-Clips installed as default.
Most living rooms don't need blackout. They need control. A light-filtering roller lets daylight through while cutting glare and keeping the room private from the street.
For south-facing rooms or larger windows, sunscreen fabric does the same job without darkening the space. If you want more flexibility, ask us about Day & Night blinds instead.
Standard fabric doesn't last in kitchens and bathrooms. Steam, condensation and grease destroy it. We fit moisture-resistant PVC or coated roller blinds that wipe clean and won't develop mould.
If the
window is above a hob or a shower, we'll recommend an inside-recess fit to keep the blind out of direct contact.
