Roller Blinds

The most common motorised blind we fit. Battery motor charges via USB, sits inside the tube.

Available in standard and Perfect Fit frames. Blackout, light-filtering and moisture-resistant fabrics.

Day & Night Blinds

Motorised Day & Night blinds removes the chain loop entirely. Available in standard and Perfect Fit frames.

Popular upgrade for new build living rooms.

Roman Blinds

Available motorised, though not all fabric and lining combinations support it, heavier fabrics may need a larger motor.

Best for large or high windows where a manual chain would be awkward.

Venetian Blinds

Motorised tilt and lift. Useful for wide venetian blinds that are heavy to raise manually, or for high windows. Battery-powered, no wiring.

Ideal for larger windows, hard-to-reach areas and homes with multiple blinds.

Larger Windows

Wide roller blinds and heavy venetian blinds are awkward to operate manually. Motorised makes daily use effortless, especially for blinds over a metre wide.

Hard-to-Reach Areas

Skylights, high stairwell windows, above-kitchen-unit windows. If you can't comfortably reach it by hand, motorised is the practical solution. Controlled by remote or app from anywhere in the room.

How the Motor Works

The motor sits inside the roller tube or headrail, invisible from the outside. It's battery-powered and charges via USB, so there's no wiring and no electrician needed.

A full charge lasts months on normal use. When it's low, you detach the battery pack, charge it, and clip it back in. The blind looks and fits identically to a manual one.

Answers to common questions about made-to-measure motorised blinds.

No. The motors are battery-powered and charge via USB. No electrician, no wiring, no disruption. A full charge lasts several months under normal use.

Depends on usage and blind size, but most customers get 3–6 months between charges. The motor gives a low-battery warning before it runs out. Recharging takes a few hours via USB, you don't need to remove the blind.

In most cases, no. The motor needs to be built into the blind from the start. If you already have manual blinds and want to upgrade, we'd replace the blind with a motorised version. The fitting is the same process.

Roller, Day & Night, roman and venetian blinds are all available motorised. Roller and Day & Night are the most popular. Roman depends on fabric weight. We'll advise on compatibility during the home visit.
